Where Threads Meet: About Alejandra and the Paths We Choose
Alejandra is far from someone who follows the beaten path. With a background in social anthropology and a strong sense for communication, fashion, and sustainability, she has created a unique platform where values meet creativity—both professionally and personally.

When Words Find Direction
In 2019, the feminist communications agency Mad Luck was born—a response to the need for more values-driven PR, and a collaboration between Alejandra and her partner Maria. It marked the beginning of something that continues to grow: a place where strategy meets social analysis, and where stories are given both shape and power.
A City by the Water, a Place to Create
Since 2020, Copenhagen has been home. Here, Alejandra continues to work in communications—but also to build something new. A new rhythm, new ideas, new materials to explore. Her work with sustainable interiors and fashion has taken on a visual form here—not least through her YouTube channel, where beauty and consciousness coexist.
Silent Knowledge in Textiles
Sewing her own clothes is a way to think slowly in a fast world. Alejandra lives her philosophy literally—and right now, she’s sewing the future. A menswear brand is taking shape, where style is not just surface, but an expression of responsibility, courage, and identity.

Choices We Make, Cities We Know
As a vegan and lover of life’s pleasures, Alejandra has a special eye for the little extras: the hidden natural wine bar, the second-hand shop where time stands still. In Copenhagen, she finds inspiration both in the city’s pulse and in quiet corners where stories gather in fabric, glass, and conversation.

3 Quick Questions with Alejandra
A favorite spot in Copenhagen?
– Josephine wine bar, the café-bar Lille Musling, and the interior shop Beau Marché are solid choices for anyone wanting the best of Copenhagen. I also recommend visiting second-hand stores run by church organizations; there are real treasures!
Your best second-hand find?
– Oh, just yesterday I scored a perfect biker-style leather jacket AND a double-breasted men’s blazer that was the perfect oversized fit. I’m impressed they were practically hanging next to each other. Lucky me.
What’s inspiring you right now?
– All the recent music releases. Rosalía’s album Lux is amazing—truly incredible. Creative, exciting, captivating, and emotionally stirring. Anna von Hausswolff’s Iconoclasts is fantastic too! In a way, they remind me of each other, but Anna’s album feels more gothic with the organ. People who carve their own path will always be my greatest source of inspiration.
Alejandra shows that it’s possible to combine activism with business, sustainability with style, and anthropology with PR. In a world that often expects us to choose a single path, she walks her own—and that’s exactly what makes her so inspiring.
